I have inflamed and swollen gums. Myteeth even feel “funny’ and my fillingsare sensitive. The best way I candiscribe my gums is they feel as if theyhave been burned by eating hot food. Ihave been treate by two doctors and theydont know what is wrong. Help!!

I know someone who is addicted to thosestuffed neck and shoulder
warmers that you heat up in the microware. She has one on all the time
and this has been going on for manymonths, possibly a couple of years.
The problem is that it is obviouslyseriously damaging her skin. In
fact, it looks somewhat like 2nd-degreeburns but i’m no expert. The
skin is quite red and nasty looking. Seriously, it’s disgusting. There
are even patches of gross-looking deadskin.

I think she’s even beginning to losesensation in the area because it
looks like it should be horriblyuncomfortable and she says she can’t
feel any pain. In addition, she has towarm these things up much longer
than she used to to get the same sensationof warmth.

We keep telling her to stop using the darnthings but she refuses. What
sort of long-term damage could be done ifshe continues to slowly cook
her neck and shoulders like this?

It has been 13 years since I was diagnosedwith testicular cancer. I hadchemotherapy followed by surgery andremoval of testical and a large tumor inmy abdomen. Since the surgery 13 yearsago, I have been experiencing numbness inmy left leg. My left side below my waistdoes not sweat anymore. This has beentrue since shortly after surgery. Latelyit seems to be getting worse. Is this anormal side effect?
