I got frostbite on a finger and i’mworried about whether my finger will falloff.
It happened 6 days ago, and on the top ofmy finger (by my knuckle) the skin feelsburned and is dark red, and a blisterformed. That seems normal I guess.
What i’m worried about is my finger tip,which got more frozen than the top of thefinger. The skin surrounding my fingertipis hard and I can’t feel anything on thesurface of it. It looks pretty normal -never got dark/burned red. But everythingis totally numb, although I can feelpressure applied to it.
Is there anything I can do to treat this,and how serious is it?
